just like that... another week has flown by, and i have no real evidence of its productivity except for a bunch of pinning on my part. whoops. i am among the thousands of people that has made pinterest their new addiction (well, that and words with friends) and i think i am speaking for everyone when i say i wish i was the brilliance behind this wonderful, too good to be true cataloging system. i am finding that i am a bit of a lost cause though-- if i could only spent half as much time working on the projects i've pinned rather than finding new projects to pin, my time would be much better spent. anyone else have this problem?
i have been pinning with good reason though. nature can be a real stink sometimes... keeping you rained on and confined just long enough to get your work done, yet providing no promises of a sunny day to greet you at the finish line. and if all this time in my office has shown me anything, it's that i definitley need to get to work on fixing myself a more productive, efficient, and organized work space. one that has me begging for yet another yuck day so i can sit around, pin, drink tea, edit pictures, and find redemption in my tom waits record and the sound of raindrops. oh yes... hello office pinboard.
speaking of work... i spent a good chunk of time thumbing through old photoshoots today.
i thought i`d share some of them with you. this is only a small lot of them and they are in no particular order ... but i hope they take you on a bit of an adventure. i am so blessed to play a small part in capturing these people's stories, and whether they know it or not, so blessed to have them woven into mine. photography is such a powerful thing, to be able to capture a moment in time and freeze it forever... and i pray that i never take this gift of sight for granted. i may not have invented pinterest, but to me, this is the next best thing.
