my littlest hokie is sick and hurting and feverish. she has an ugly stomach bug that is making her all pukey and sour faced. haley and i, believing in the healing powers of googly-eyes and paper heart doilies, decided to make her some early valentine's in hopes of bringing a smile to her face. they too, have upset tummies... if you can't tell by the faces haley drew on them. haha.
feel better soon, my stinky little girl!

oh my goodness Kim, I love your life. I'm sure it is filled with the everyday stresses of mommy- and wifey-hood, but you manage to find peace and tranquility in the midst of it all so easily. How many times do I need to say that I envy your lifestyle to finally change my own? :P
ReplyDeleteHow funny and sweet! Poor little miss - I've got my fingers crossed that it's one of those bugs that passes really quick. And that the rest of you don't pick it up!
ReplyDeletethank you sara, you are too sweet. we have a lot of trials, particularly as of late, so its the little things that are getting me by :)
ReplyDeletethanks edie! that's what i am so worried about, i know this bug is quite contagious, so i am kinda just waiting for this household to turn into barf city.
very, very sweet! [and comical too!]
ReplyDeleteThese are completely adorable! I actually featured them on my blog as part of my Fabulous Finds Craft and Recipe Round-Up: Valentine’s Edition! Just thought you’d like to know, and thanks for the awesome idea!

I'm so sorry to hear about your daughter's system bug. It's been a while so I'm sure she's ok now. I still hate it though when your loved ones are sick. I love the eyes on the heart shaped creatives you made.
