i've spent a good chunk of the last 4 years of my life PREGNANT. and while there were certain aspects of my pregnancies that I embraced (like feeling the baby kick and the boobs!), the last thing I wanted was to be captured on camera. My face was too round. My chin was pregnant with quadruplets instead of the twins it normally totes around. My toes were sausages. My rear-end looked the saddest it's ever looked and is still in recovery. Just typical pregnant lady things that I never wore quite well. Not like these pregnant ladies I photograph atleast... I feel like they could all be pregnancy cover girls!
i am trying to get back to the point where i feel comfortable in front of a camera because i already feel a lot of regret for not having these photos of myself to look back on. i am starting small, with a picture of myself and my handsome nicky bobby and not even of our faces... and hope to get atleast one photo with myself in it a week.
considering my other self-challenge is to get down with tony horton once a day, this should be quite managable. which one is more painful is still a toss-up...though i feel trying to explain aperature and shutterspeed and framing a shot to nick may be the biggest challenge of all! ack!
wish us luck
